The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs put up a fight, but fell 9-2 to Kinston on Monday afternoon in Kinston.

Kinston picked up one run in the opening inning and then blew the game open with a seven-run second inning.

Haley Ballard picked up an RBI in the top of the third inning when she drove in Alana Nettles with a single to to left field.

Mary Katherine Salter singled to start the top of the fifth innin and then moved to third on double from Haley Harper.

Day then drove in Salter with ground ball to shortstop.
