Donna Johnson Newsom

Donna Johnson Newsom, age 53, of Andalusia, passed away on Tues., April 4, 2017, at the Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Fri., April 7, from Judson Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Ann Newsom and Perry Parrish, Jr. of Andalusia; son, Jeremy Aaron Newsom of North Carolina; grandchild, Kynleigh Parrish; and sisters, Mary McCart of River Falls and Joye Cender of Andalusia.

Mrs. Newsom is preceded in death by her father, Jack Johnson, and brother, James “Jimmy” Johnson.

Pallbearers will include Jeremy Newsom, Shawn Newsom, Perry Parrish, Jr., Bobby Joe Johnson, Tom Moore, and Donnell Weatherford.

Eloise H. Scroggins

Mrs. Eloise H. Scroggins, age 54, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., April 5, 2017, at the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Sat., April 8, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frankie McVay officiating the service. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Scroggins of Andalusia; daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica and Jason Tucker and Jennifer and Joey Russ, all of Andalusia; four grandchildren, Riley Tucker, Macy Tucker, Zoe Russ, and Trenton Russ; brother, Billy Wayne Hilburn of Elba; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Delphia and Greg Howell, Sue Ann and Sonny Helms, and Rita and DeWayne Scroggins, all of Andalusia.

Pallbearers will include David McVay, Stacey McVay, Will McVay, Sandie McVay, Major Parker, and Tad Moore.
