Tina Marie Julian

Tina Marie Julian, age 41, of Andalusia passed away on Mon., April 3, 2017, at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan. She was born on Nov. 4, 1975, to Paul and Cindy (Macer) Julian in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thurs., April 6, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the service starts. A memorial service will be held in Niagara Falls, N.Y., at a later date.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Paul and Cindy Julian; daughter, Alyssa Newman; sisters, Nicole Julian and Lisa (Reginald Penn) Julian; niece, Heather Sams; nephews Reggie Julian and Cash Julian; and great- niece, Gemma Sams. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Peanut, and cats, Roseanne and Smokey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Tina to the Humane Society of your choice.

 

Jimmy Ray Peterson

Mr. Jimmy Ray Peterson, 73, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., April 3, 2017, at the Andalusia Health facility

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs., April 6, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Jay Driver. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharrie Grimes Peterson of Andalusia; two sons, Brian Peterson (Lynn Byrd) of Cecil, Ala., and Eric Peterson (Diana) of Westover, Ala.; a brother, Billy Joe Turner (Glenda) of Andalusia; a grandson, Ryan Dale Peterson; a granddaughter, Laura Short; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A lifelong resident of Andalusia he leaves behind many friends made through his time working at the Alatex and Covington County. He loved the outdoors, particularly dog sports.

Pallbearers will include Tony Turner, Mike Grimes, Chad Grimes, John Grider, Chris Grimes, Rusty Davis. Honorary pallbearer is Billy Wayne Turner.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Good News Baptist Chapel.
