Pleasant Home head boys basketball coach Troy Turman has helped lead the Eagles back to South Regionals for the first time since his senior year playing at Pleasant Home in 2002, and has been the named the Star-News All-County Coach of the Year.

Turman returned to his alma mater three years ago and improved the team’s record each year.

This year, after starting the season a little slow Turman lead the Eagles to 17-straight wins before falling to eventual Class 1A state-runner up Georgiana in South Regional Championship.
