Kellen Findley was named an honorary member of the Straughn Tigers’ baseball team and threw out the game’s first pitch on Monday night in Straughn before the varsity game between Straughn and Andalusia. More the 300 people showed up the for the event and raised $950 to help support the Findley family in their time of need. Kellen, 4, has been battling embroynal rhabdomyosarcoma, a disease that is a rare histological form of cancer of connective tissue. He is no longer receiving treatment. A color run is set this weekend in his honor.
