Gladys Stewart West
Gladys Stewart West of Milton, age 82, passed away on Mon., March 6, 2017. She was born June 24, 1934, in Escambia Farms, Fla., to Reuben and Ethel Stewart. Gladys graduated from Escambia Farms High School in 1954.
She worked for McKenzie Tank Lines for 12 years and took great pride in her service to that company.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and a sister. They were Odell Stewart of Escambia Farms, Earl Stewart of Baker, Randall Stewart of Laurel Hill, RC Stewart of Crestview, Lloyd Stewart of Escambia Farms and Eva Hughes of Escambia Farms; a step-daughter, Judy Carr, passed in 2013. In 2011, she lost her precious daughter, Teresa (Terri) Parker, for whom she provided care in the final years of Terri’s life.
She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her husband of 47 years, JD West of Milton; sons, Howard West of Red Level, Harry Madden of Milton, Keith Madden of Milton and Dan West of Crestview, and Ron West of Milton; and a daughter, Barbara Brooks of Opp. She had four daughters-in-law, Dorothy West, Elaine Madden, Cheryl Madden and Marlynn West. Her grandchildren are Jason Madden, Sabrina Cobb, Douglas West, Dr. Jamie Congelton, James Rhymes, Ryan Madden, Amanda Flores, Daniel Madden, Jimbo West, Timbo West , Jessica West, Shannon Adkisson, Bobby Carr, Ronnie Brooks, Donnie Brooks and Tammy Holt. She leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren. She is additionally survived by three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home of Crestview on Fri., March 10. The family will gather from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.. The service will commence at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Wing Cemetery.

Cecil Eugene Windham
Mr. Cecil Eugene Windham, 82, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., March 1, 2017, at Andalusia Manor.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sat., March 11, 2017, in Adellum Cemetery, with Judge Ashley McKathan and Brother Billy Boles officiating the service.
Mr. Windham is survived by his wife, Betty Harrelson Windham of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Toni Windham of Huntsville; step-daughter and son-in-law, Rae and Ashley McKathan of Pleasant Home; step-son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Amanda Harrelson of Andalusia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elmira Ridgeway of Grand Bay, Ala., and Lois Colvin Gibson of Andalusia; and a very special cousin, Marcia (David) Foster of Montgomery.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Willie Mae Styron Windham; daughter, Darlene Mollinet; sister, Jennifer Windham; grandson, Damien Mollinet; and grandparents, Charlie and Lorena Tew Windham.
