Mr. and Mrs. Julian Joseph Farrington Jr. of Andalusia are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Michelle Farrington, to Joshua Wayne Pruitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darren Clark of Ellsworth, Kansas, and Mr. Rodney Moss of Osborne, Kansas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Joe Wiggins of Andalusia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Joseph Farrington Sr. of Boaz.

She is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2009 graduate of Troy University where she earned a degree in general science education. In 2011, she earned her master’s degree in biology education from Troy University. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority. She is currently employed at Straughn High School in Andalusia.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dwaine Pruitt and the late Betty Pruitt of Ellsworth, Kansas, and Mrs. Lillian Jeno and the late Mr. Kenneth Jeno of Belleville, Kansas, and Mrs. Kathy Moss and the late Mr. Bernard Moss of Lincoln, Kansas.

He is a 2002 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a 2006 graduate of Troy University where he earned a degree in criminal justice. In 2009, he earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from Troy University. He also earned a master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Kentucky in 2015.

He is currently the director of player development for the University of Kentucky football team.

The couple will wed on March 11, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Andalusia.
