\ The Andalusia Adult Activity Center is looking for vendors for its annual Senior Appreciation Day.

“We are looking for any type of vendor,” Sonja Godwin, coordinator of the AAC, said. “It can be used or new items, sweets (if they meet health department guidelines), jewelry, woodwork, crafts, sewing, baskets, etc.”

The event is set for March 30, at the Kiwanis Center, but Godwin is busy making preparations for the big day.

Booth rentals are $20 each.

Godwin said that “a very special invitation is extended for you and your friends to join us for our 22nd annual Senior Appreciation Day/Character Celebration.”

“An exciting fun-filled day of activities and entertainment is planned for your enjoyment, which will include music and entertainment, contests, door prizes and lots of surprises,” she said.

The day’s featured entertainment will be Ron Taylor and the Country Band.

“This show is sure to be exciting and please everyone in the crowd,” she said.

Senior groups from across the state flock to the Kiwanis Center for a day of fun.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the show begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m.

It’s free to attend.
