The No. 6-ranked Andalusia Bulldogs got the area win they need after knocking off Escambia County 72-58 on Saturday night.

“The biggest thing was that our scoring was more balanced,” Andalusia head coach Anthony Clark said. “I really felt like we played exceptionally well, except for two bad stretches. I feel like we are getting closer and closer to playing a complete game, and this is the time of year that you want to do that.”

After falling to the Blue Devils on the road last week, the Bulldogs rallied to big win.

Escambia County went on top to start the game and held a 15-13 lead at the end of the first period.

Allan George got the things heated up in the second period with a pair of 3-pointers to help put the Bulldogs on top 27-21 at halftime.
