The Opp Bobcats held off Slocomb in the final minutes on for a 46-44 victory Friday night in Opp.

Opp came tearing out of the gate in the opening period and went on top 23-8 heading into the second period.

The Bobcats struggled to find the bucket in the second period, but still managed to hold a 23-14 lead over Slocomb at halftime.

Opp picked up the pace in the third period, and were up 35-27 heading into the final period.

Slocomb came out strong in the fourth and grabbed the lead for a few minutes, but the Bobcats rallied in the final minutes to knocked of the Red Tops 46-44.

Orlando Lacey led the Bobcats with 12 points and Reggie Thompson finished the night with 10 points, including the game winner.
