The Opp Police Department is searching for a missing man.

According to OPD Chief Mike McDonald, they are looking for James Monroe Anderson, who is described as a white male, 36 years old, 5-feet-six-inches tall, 185 pounds with red hair and green eyes.

McDonald said it was reported that he left his residence on Cool Springs Road possibly on foot during the early morning hours on Dec. 12.

McDonald said that anyone who has seen Anderson or who may come in contact with him in the future is asked to call OPD immediately at 334-493-4511.
