Mon., Oct. 24, is the last day for Alabamians to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general election.

Local residents can register in the county administration office, or get applications from the probate office.

Applications also can be downloaded from http://alabamavotes.gov, or can submit electronic applications there.

The Board of Registrars will mail voters a voter identification card upon determining that they are eligible to vote. The voter identification card will provide you the name and address of your voting place as well as a listing of the various districts in which you live.
