Tigers look for region win in Daleville

The Straughn Tigers hit the road tonight where they will take on Class 3A, Region 2 opponent Daleville.

Straughn comes into the game on the heels of big 41-0 win over Houston Academy for the Tigers’ homecoming.

Straughn has only lost two games this season, but both were to region opponents.

Through six games, Straughn has out scored their opponents 190-179.

Daleville has won six-straight contest after losing to Carroll-Ozark 49-13 in its season-opener.

Through seven games, Daleville has out scored its opponents 232-138.

Both teams have strong non-region wins this season. Straughn started the season with a victory over Class 1A powerhouse Brantley and Daleville toppled then top-ranked Class 2A Elba.

Kickoff between Straughn and Daleville will be at 7 p.m., in Daleville.
