• A-Town Invitational, is today at the Andalusia High School Stadium. The band competition is a fundraiser for the AHS band. The event will begin at 11:45 a.m., with Florala High School; Opp High School, at 3 p.m.; Straughn High School at 5:30 p.m.; Andalusia will perform an exhibition at 9:15 p.m., and the awards ceremony will be at 9:30 p.m.
• Doggie Dash, a fundraiser for the Humane Society, begins at 9:30 a.m. on Pearl Street.
• Blessing of the Pets at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, in the courtyard of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
• Run-offs are set in municipal elections in Opp and Florala. Polls will be open from 7 until 7.
• National Night Out, sponsored by the Andalusia Police Department, Tuesday from 6 p.m., until 9 p.m., 100 Block of Church Street in downtown Andalusia. There will be an assortment of activities for the whole family.
