Pleasant Home spoils Florala’s homecoming

The Pleasant Home Eagles won back-to-back games for the first time since 2012 when the knocked off Florala 58-20 on Friday night during the Wildcats homecoming game.
“We did some things tonight that we haven’t been able to do in previous weeks,” Eagles’ head coach Chris Mason said. “I thought we threw the ball well, and I was proud of that.”
Robert Scott threw for one touchdown and nearly 200 yards. Scott also rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns.
Garrett Barton hauled in a touchdown pass.
“Florala played really hard,” Mason said. “They are a really young team, but they are going to be good when they get more experience. Coach (Brad) Rhodes has done a great job with them and they really came in playing hard.”
