The Heliport Café will now offer a larger variety of choices on its menu, but patrons will pay a little more for those options.

South Alabama Regional Airport Co-Director Jed Blackwell said that the cafe has increased its buffet prices from $6.99 to $7.99.

“People have been abusing the buffet,” he said. “They’ve been getting seven to eight pieces of chicken, putting, food in their purses and carrying out other foods.”

Blackwell said it’s not much change.
