Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments:

 

Wed., July 27, 2016

• Shannon Dewight Smith, 21, for criminal trespassing third and held on a $1,500 bond.

• Jason G. Millay, 42, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on a $20,500 bond.

• Chloe L. Baker, 20, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on a $20,500 bond.

• Henry Bassette, 62, for grand jury indictment and held on a $30,000 bond.

• Cornelius O’Neill Hill, for violation of probation and held without bond.

• Edward F. Hoffneier, 18, for minor in possession of alcohol, and held on a $500 bond.

• Hunter Christian Brackin, 18, for minor in possession of alcohol, and held on a $500 bond.

• Shirley Jean Lacey, 59, for nine counts of failure to appear and 16 counts of negotiating a worthless instrument and held on a $48,000 bond.

• Randall Robinson, 38, for two counts of failure to appear and child support, and held without bond.

The Stephanie Williams listed in the jail report in Tuesday’s paper is not the Stephanie Williams who works at PowerSouth. The Star-News is happy to clarify that for its readers.
