The Andalusia High School Quarterback Club will holds its Seventh Annual Andalusia High School Football Hall of Fame Banquet and Installation Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 13.

The 2016 honorees are Steve Posey, Grady Smith, Lynn Shreve, Gwin Burkett, and the 1973 Bulldog Football Team.

The event will be in the Andalusia High School Volleyball Gymnasium. Tickets are $25 each and available at Jones Veterinary Hospital, Southern Independent Bank, Three Notch Pawn and Gun Shop, and from Jody Jackson (334/504-3621) through July 27.

On Friday night, Aug. 12, the Quarterback Club will hold its first-ever Red Hot Glow Run. Participants can run, walk, or jalk (jog/walk) in the 5K race that will begin and end in the stadium. There will also be a one mile Dog Trot in the stadium for kids 8 and under. Participants who pre-register will receive a glow T-shirt that will be great for Friday night football.

The race will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the stadium at the conclusion of Meet the Bulldogs and the Alumni vs. players football game. Registration is available online at https://register.chronotrack.com/r/22528.
