The Opp City Board of Education held a special called meeting Thursday.

The following personnel actions were approved:

• the resignation of Shakira Kellum, special education teacher at Opp High School;

• employed Stella Beth Jackson as career explorations teacher at Opp Middle School;

• employed Alison Perry as special education teacher at Opp Middle school;

• employed Michael Robert Fleming as history teacher at Opp Middle School;

• employed Mellissa Carpenter as counselor at Opp Elementary School;

• employed Debbie Russell as special education teacher at Opp High School;

• employed Brandy Mosley as science teacher at Opp High School;

• employed Cam Pierce as business teacher at Opp High School;

• employed Katelyn Anderson as special education aide at Opp Elementary School;

• employed Dorthy Wood as special education aide at Opp Elementary School.
