Helen Sellers Lee

Mrs. Helen Sellers Lee, 97, of Red Level, passed away Tues., July 12, 2016, in a Wetumpka nursing facility.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Fri., July 15, from Fairmount Baptist Church with the Rev. John Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Edwin L. Hodges Ministry, 60 S. Mountain Rd., Decatur, AL 35603, a ministry that ships Bibles and Christian literature around the world.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Fred Berry of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Dorothy and Bruce Faust of Wetumpka; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Melanie Lee of Pelham, Ala.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one niece, Sylvia (John) Whitley of Panama City, Fla.; and nephew, Nelson (Dorothy Ann) Whitehurst of Elba.

Pallbearers will be Bill Sellers, Larry Sims, Marvin Odom, Le Ray Berry, Larry Blackwell, and Mike Brown.

Billy Rudolph Reeves

Mr. Billy Rudolph Reeves, age 83, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., July 10, 2016, at Opp Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thurs., July 14, 2016, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Lee officiating the service. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes Reeves of Andalusia; daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah Martha and Ray Miller and Susan and Ronnie Tubberville all of Andalusia; grandchildren, Joey Shell, Jarrett Miller, and Hannah Elizabeth Miller; step-grandchildren, Nicole Wang, Ronald Tubberville, William Tubberville, and Joshua Tubberville; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Shell, Ashlyn Miller, and Charity Tubberville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Betty Reeves of Dozier and Thermon “Shorty” and Doris Reeves of Luverne; sisters, Doris Boswell of Honoraville and Connie Hayes of Luverne; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jarrett Miller, Mack Smith, Chris Reeves, Sonny Helms, Kenneth Jones, and Joey Shell

Honorary pallbearers will be Porter Harris and Jordan Lee Shell.

Voncile Boles Stone

Mrs. Voncile Boles Stone, 88, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., July 8, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Mon., July 11, 2016, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Fred Karhaus officiating, interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Peggy Boles of Andalusia, Gary and Debbie Stone of Houston, Texas, and Ken Stone of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Drew Cook of Andalusia; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her first husband of 48 years, William Boles and her second husband of 18 years, Leon Stone; a daughter, Sandra B. Layton; and grandson, Gerard Fontes.

The family would like to thank special care givers for their love and caring of Mrs. Stone: Fredy Walker, Carolyn Curry, Lacey Merrill, Latisha Stallworth, Kathy Rudolph, and Sharon Cobb. Also, a special thanks to the staff of Comfort Care Hospice, particularly Gina Hicks and April Williams.

Pallbearers will be Hamp Boles, Ronnie Boles, Arnold Boles, Gerard Boles, Bill Boles, and Walter Boles

Mrs. Kenneth Nelson Giddens

Funeral service for Mrs. Kenneth Nelson Giddens, 93, will be Fri., July 15, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia, with Bro. Lamar Russell officiating. Burial will be in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery in Andalusia.

Mrs. Giddens died Mon., July 11, 2016, at Sylacauga Health & Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hubert Giddens; and father and mother, G. L. and Mertice Nelson. She graduated from Andalusia High School and was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church in Andalusia. She was a welder at the Mobile Ship Yards during WWII.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzy Dozier of Falls Church, Va., and Evelyn March and husband Charles of Brookhaven, Miss.; two sons, James Terry Giddens and wife Jacque of Dothan, and Kenneth Ray Giddens and wife Janie of Childersburg; sister, Bonnie Mae Allen of Andalusia; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

Visitation will be Thurs., July 14, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, and Fri., July 15, 2016, from noon until 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia.
