Jana Wyatt, CEO of Mizell Memorial Hospital, was recently elected to serve on the board of the Alabama Hospital Association (AlaHA), representing hospitals in the Southeastern area of the state. The election was made at the Association’s annual meeting.
“We are very fortunate to have individuals like Jana who are willing to give of their time to lead our Association,” said Dr. Donald Williamson, president of the Alabama Hospital Association. “She has been active on a number of committees and served as president of the South-east Alabama Hospital Council.”
Mrs. Wyatt has more than 20 years in the health care industry and has been with Mizell Memorial for 11 years.
She is heavily involved in her community, serving on the board of the Opp Chamber of Commerce, the Douglas MacArthur State Technical College Foundation, and the Mizell Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The Alabama Hospital Association, based in Montgomery, is a statewide trade organization that represents more than 100 hospitals and numerous other health care providers by offering membership services designed to enhance the provision of health care in Alabama.
