City crews this week have removed much of the overgrowth on property located adjacent to Magnolia Cemetery, believed to have been contributing to the downtown buzzard problem. The city council recently discussed the issue after receiving complaints that the vultures were destroying flowers in the cemetery. The cemetery fence is visible in the background.
