The flavors of summer were abundant at the Andalusia Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning.

The market is open on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. until noon. Already, farmers have tomatoes, corn, and butterbeans, as well as fresh greens.

Above: Ron Brooks of Libertyville had some of Chilton County’s first peaches of the season available on Saturday. The peaches are $8 a basket, and Brooks said he will be back at the market Wednesday morning.

0531-lemonade-standLeft: Kaylee Armstrong, 10, and Blaine Jones, 10, had fresh lemonade for $1 a cup. Jones said he serves lemonade at the market every chance he gets.
