The City of Andalusia Department of Leisure Services will be registering interested children for tennis and golf at Johnson Park on Tues., May 26 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Kids between K-18 years old may sign up for tennis, and 8-18 for golf.

There will be a $25 registration fee for the tennis camp and a $35 registration fee for the golf camp.

Camp dates for tennis are from June 8-25 and July 6-23, Mondays through Thursdays, at the Lurleen B. Wallace Community College tennis courts.

The golf camp begins on June 5 at the Evans Barnes Driving Range and involves a 10-lesson course dedicated to developing players’ golf swing, short game, putting, managing the game, and practice, to name a few.

There will be three different levels of skill at the tennis camp: beginners, intermediate and advanced.
