A 63-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly making a bomb threat at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Andalusia police officers responded to a call from ARH at around 4:30 p.m. about a bomb threat.

According to a press release from the department, an Andalusia area man made the threat verbally to a nurse.

Officers and Investigator Chris Byrd identified the man as Harry D. Hensley.

He was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats, a class C felony.

“Terroristic threats like this must be taken seriously,” APD Chief Paul Hudson. “Our department and city will not allow for any terroristic threats to be made to our citizens or businesses without criminal prosecution.”

Hensley’s bond was set at $10,000.
