A Pensacola teen was airlifted from the scene of a one-vehicle crash Monday evening in Wing.

ALEA spokesperson Kevin Cook said that Destiny Jordan, 16, was airlifted because she was pregnant.

Cook said the cause of the wreck was that Jordan was driving her 2003 Dodge too fast for the conditions.

The crash occurred on Avery Ballion Road, Cook said.

Family members said on social media that Jordan was OK and the baby was, as well.

Cook said she received non-life threatening injuries.
