Lady Tigers fall to J.F. Shields

The Red Level Lady Tigers gave it their all, but it just wasn’t enough as they fell 53-22 the J.F. Shields on Thursday night in Red Level.
J.F. Shields came out firing on all cylinders and by the end of the first period they were on top of Red Level 20-6.
The Lady Tigers got 2 points each from Jayla Poindexter, Ansley Russell and Natalie Feagin in the opening period.
J.F. Shields continued to pour on the points in the second period and held a 43-11 lead heading into halftime.
Maggie Wilkerson had 3 points in the second period.
Poindexter added 2 points for the Lady Tigers in the second period.
The third period didn’t see J.F. Shields put up another 20 points, but they were on top of the Lady Tigers 53-15 heading into the final stanza.
Feagin picked up all four the Lady Tigers’ points in the third period.
Red Level never gave up and continued to fight it out, and held J.F. Shields scoreless in the final period.
Alexis Perdue picked up 2 points in the final period, Russell added 2 points and Poindexter had 3 points in the final period.
Poindexter was the leading scorer for the Lady Tigers with 7 points.
