Those who have signed up to help with Andalusia’s Community Christmas have three opportunities beginning today to drop off packages for the local youth.

More than 400 children have been signed up for the help.

Drop-off times will be from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., today and Sunday and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, at the Kiwanis Center.

Organizer Larry Avery said the program, which helps needy families of children 10 and under is dependent on the community’s help each year.

“We depend on the community to help us make it a success,” he said.

Donations are still being accepted.
