Those who need a little help with Christmas this year can sign up for Andalusia’s Community Christmas today

The organization serves children ages 2 to 10 in the Andalusia, Pleasant Home, Red Level and Straughn communities.

On Nov. 7 registration will be held at the following times:

• Pleasant Home School, Red Level School and Straughn School from 9 a.m. until noon;

• Andalusia Elementary School, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The following documents and information are needed to register:

• Your picture ID (For the parent registering their child);

• Birth certificate for each child. (Only parents and legal guardians are allowed to register children. No other relatives without documentation of guardianship.

• A Social Security card for each child or legal document with their Social Security number;

• Proof of residence. This can be a current bill or rent receipt that shows your physical address. No post office addresses are accepted.

• Proof of government assistance, including WIC, Medicaid and SSI;

• You must present All documents at the time of registration.

A second registration day will be held on Thurs., Nov. 12, at the Andalusia Elementary School.

Donations are also needed.
