The Gantt Town Council met Monday night and approved the following items:

• Appropriated $500 to EMA for the fiscal year 2016, to help off set their budget cuts from the state;

• Signed an agreement with the Covington County Commission on feeding and housing inmates; and,

• OK’d a new air conditioning unit at the police department.
