LBWCC’s College Night offers students previews

LBW Community College and the Junior Service League of Andalusia will host Covington County College Night on Mon., Oct. 19, 6-7:30 p.m., in the Seth Hammett Gymnasium at LBWCC in Andalusia.
The event is free and open to the public, with more than 20 colleges and universities as well as military branches expected to participate.
College Night allows students, as well as their parents, to interact with admission representatives from a variety of postsecondary institutions. Attendees can discuss course offerings, admission and financial aid requirements, college life in general, and other information pertinent to the college selection process. Handouts, catalogs, and other helpful information from the participating colleges will also be available.
Expected to be represented are Alabama Air Guard, Alabama National Guard, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Alabama A&M University, Alabama State University, Auburn University, Auburn University at Montgomery, Huntingdon College, ITT Technical Institute, Jacksonville State University, Judson College, LBWCC, Marion Military Institute, Miles College, Reid State Technical College, Samford University, Stillman College, The University of Alabama in Huntsville, The University of West Alabama, Troy University, University of Alabama Early College, University of Alabama, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Montevallo, and University of North Alabama.
