On Fri., Aug. 8, 2015, at approximately 7 p.m., Covington County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lindsey Bridge Road to a call of a domestic disturbance that had gotten physical. Upon arrival, deputies found a white male lying on the ground bleeding from an apparent wound in the chest area caused by a knife. The male was later identified as Morgan Riley, 57, who lived at the residence. The other individual that was involved in the fight was identified as 51-year-old white male Robert Allen Yovichin who also resides at the residence. A Covington County Sheriff’s Office investigator arrived on scene and processed the scene. The victim was transported to Andalusia Regional Hospital by Advanced EMS and later transported to a hospital in Pensacola by an air ambulance. Robert Yovichin was arrested at the scene and transported to Covington County Jail and charged with attempted murder with a $500,000 bond. This case is still under investigation.
