Quite often, Lockhart resident Kenneth Bailey likes to get an update on the construction of the Jackson Pond bridge. Bailey said construction workers built up the side railings Thursday, and laid the asphalt recently. Bailey is seen here looking over the bridge’s side. He added that he was sure the 12-foot alligator is still swimming around in the pond.
