Summer happenings at The Gallery announced

The Gallery is a busy place this summer.
Don’t miss the following events:
• The date for Lunch with the Artist featuring Wes Hardin has changed to Tues., June 23, 11:30 to 1. Tickets are $20 and on sale now at The Gallery.
• Richard Rhea is starting an adult guitar class for beginners on Mondays at 6 p.m. The cost is $40 per month for a once a week class. The class will last 45 minutes to an hour.
• The summer program has been moved to July 14 – 17. It is an art and science camp called “Gee Whiz Geodes!” The hours are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $50.
• They have signed copies of Thagard R. Colvin’s new book, “Alapaha River, Night Hunters” on sale for $15. It’s a suspenseful work of fiction influenced by Mr. Colvin’s many years as a wildlife biologist.
• Lee Burns’s birdhouses are still on display and for sale.
• A few Zombee Candles are left from the trunk show.
“We still have some of Sister Schubert’s “Celebrations from the Heart” cookbooks and Kristy White’s “Andalusia” book,” said Sheila Rhea of the LAAC. “We have new art in, including two Woody Long pieces.”
