A tentative schedule for the 2015 Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo has been released.

The rodeo will be held at Opp’s Channell-Lee Stadium April 11-12.

Saturday’s events include the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo 5K at 9 a.m., the snake race at 10 a.m., the opening ceremony at noon, the championship snake race at 2 p.m. and the greasy pole climb at 3:30 p.m. The gates open at 8 a.m.

On Sunday, gates open at 10 a.m. Snake races and shows will be at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., and musical acts John Tibbs, Finding Favour, Audio Adrenaline and NewsBoys will highlight the weekend’s final day.

During the day, vendors will be set up around the stadium’s track selling good food, crafts and other items.
