Wanted women arrested for bad checks

Deedra Clark and Lynda Dozier have been arrested for writing bad checks.
Clark and Dozier were wanted by the Covington County District Attorney’s office for negotiating a worthless instrument (writing bad checks).
Both were arrested on Friday by the county’s sheriff’s office.
Covington County District Attorney Investigator Brett Holmes said Clark and Dozier turned themselves in after seeing the story “Most wanted: DA seeks 3 for checks,” which was published in the Fri., March 27 edition of The Star-News.
Clark, 46, was arrested for four counts of negotiating a worthless instrument and held in the Covington County Jail on a $12,000 bond.
Dozier, 54, was arrested for three counts of negotiating a worthless instrument and held on a $9,000 bond.
