The District Attorney’s Office Worthless Check unit has issued warrants for the arrest of 75 people who have failed to resolve their worthless check cases.

“Over the last month, we have tried to reach out to the following defendants to make an effort to resolve their worthless check cases,” the DA’s office announced Friday. “However, failure to do so has resulted in warrants for their arrest being issued and now being made public. We will recall the warrants if the defendants pay all costs and fines in full; otherwise, they will be booked into the Covington County Jail for failure to pay. If you owe worthless checks, now is the time to resolve the matter or further action will be taken.”
