Raul M. del Toro has been charged with kiddnapping and attempted murder and is being held on a $1 million bond in connection with Saturday morning’s shooting in downtown Andalusia.

The shooting, which occurred in the vicinity of Dairy Queen and Ashley Furniture, was reported to authorities at 7:42 a.m.

del Toro’s, a white female whose name has not been released, was found in a vehicle behind Ashley Furniture. She had been shot twice and was transferred to Andalusia Regional Hospital.

An extensive manhunt consumed most of the day, and authorities finally took Deltoro in to custody Saturday night.

He is described as a 6-ft, 199-lb, 5 1-year-old Hispanic male.
