Bernice Sutton Livingston

Mrs. Bernice Sutton Livingston, 96, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Jan. 31, 2015, in the Opp Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tues., Feb. 3, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Minister Fred Funches and the Rev. Diane Everette officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Becky Livingston of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Lori and Mike Stanfield of Opp and Jody Livingston of Andalusia; her great-grandchildren, Avery Stanfield, Clancy Stanfield, Audrey Livingston, Abigail Livingston, and Anna Katherine Livingston; one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Judy Sutton of Buford, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will accept flowers of memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and Crossover Ministries.

 Mary J. Penn

Mrs. Mary J. Penn, 80, of Opp, died Fri., Jan. 30, 2015, at a local hospital.

A funeral service for Mrs. Penn will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Tues., Feb. 3, at Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Wise and Bro. Shawn Bentley officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp. Visitation was at the funeral home Monday night.

Mrs. Penn is survived by her son, Ronny (Donna) Penn; daughters, Annette (Robert) Falls and Joyce Hopper; her sister, Edna King; her grandchildren, Jonathan Penn, Celia Penn, Lisa Cox, David Nixon, Leslie Mayo, and Sharon Wilkerson; five great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Her husband, Harvey Penn, and her son, Harvey Penn Jr., preceded her in death.

Amanda Inez Pate Scott

Mrs. Amanda Inez Pate Scott, 86, of Ozark, died Sun., Feb. 1, 2015, in Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wed., Feb. 4, 2015, in the chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with the Rev. William Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Scott was born May 14, 1928, in Crenshaw County, Ala., to the late Willie Jackson Pate and Lois Jordan Pate. She grew up in Andalusia and traveled with her husband while he worked with the construction industry. They moved to Ozark in 1970. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Maxie Pate and Charles Pate; and one son-in-law, Lonnie Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, L. L. Scott of Ozark; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lynn Smith, Becky and Ricky Dunn, all of Ozark; four grandchildren, Christy Lane (David), Joey Smith (Nicole), Jason Dunn (Kayce), Katie Dunn; and six great-grandchildren, Evan Dunn, Brittany Lane, Little David Lane, Adriana Smith, Eyan Smith, and Jacob Mittelbach.

Mary Peacock

Mrs. Mary Peacock, age 90, of Andalusia passed away Sat., Jan. 31, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Fri., Feb. 6, 2015, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Barry Wilkinson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 5, 2015, at Keahey Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Peacock, and a son, James Frank Peacock.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Peacock, Sr. of Andalusia; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Peacock, Bill Peacock, David Peacock, Jr., David Peacock Sr., Clint Peacock, and Chris Peacock.

Flowers will be omitted and contributions be made to the Christian Service Center of Andalusia.
