An Andalusia eating establishment has closed its doors.

Simone’s Café & Confectionary closed permanently on Sunday.

The restaurant opened in March 2013, marketing itself for freshness.

On the restaurant’s Facebook page, owner Valerie Simone posted Sunday of the closing.

“Thanks to so many of our customers for your support,” she said. “It was our pleasure.”

She also posted they loved serving the people of Andalusia.

“Unfortunately, the combination of lack of volume and Ken’s health made the decision for us,” she said on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “Thank you so much for all the kind words and messages – they mean more to us than you ever could fathom.”
