LANGSTON “PAUL” ADAMS
Mr. Langston “Paul” Adams, 31, of Florala, passed away Tues., Sept. 23, 2014, at his residence.
Adams was a loving father of two children, a precious son and a loyal brother.
He was born June 26, 1983, in Grand Rapids, Mich., and he was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County, Fla. and Covington County.
A devoted father, and avid fisher and hunter, he enjoyed weight lifting and marksmanship.
Paul was the assistant chief of police for Florala Police Dept. and K-9 officer of “Bella.” He was also an active member of the Covington County IRT (SWAT) Team.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandfather, Langston Adams of Crestview, Fla.
He is survived by his parents Warren and Tammy Adams; son, Warren Russell Adams; daughter, Jocelyn Rose Adams all of Florala; grandparents Mary Evelyn Adams of Crestview and Tom and Helen Goss of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; two brothers, Tyler (Megan) Adams of Orlando and Landon Adams of Florala; one sister Angel (Juan) Perez of Pasco, Wash.; and two adopted brothers, Michael (Shawna) Suggs and Brandon (Crystal) Davis; six nieces and nephews, Ava, Tripp, Jazmine, Karli, Haley and Mya; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Services will be held Sat., Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, a burial to follow with law enforcement honors at Old Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Spectrum House; 1455 S Ferdon Blvd., Ste. C1, Crestview, FL 32536.

DIANE BUSH LITTLE
Mrs. Diane Bush Little, 60, of the Carolina Community, died Tues., Sept. 23, 2014, in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Fri., Sept. 26, at Oakey Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Marie Bush; and a brother, Hiram Bush.
Mrs. Little is survived by her husband, David Little of Carolina Community; son Wesley Douglas (Krista) Cross of Andalusia; daughters, Penny Cross (Jonathon) Broome of Adrian, Mich., Robin Cross (Richard) Randell of Hugo, Okla.; step-daughter, Tonya Little (Clete) Pelham of Andalusia, 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Billy (Ruth) Bush and Charles (Cathryn) Bush of Pensacola, Fla., Joe (Kaye) Bush and Wayne (Carmen) Bush of Andalusia; sisters, Margaret Beasley and Rose Hutchinson of Pensacola, Fla., Sybil (Claud) Phelps of Ponchatoula, La., Louise (LaVaughn) Smith of Satsuma, Alice (Steve) Toohill of Pensacola, Fla. and Vivian (Carl) Douglass of Andalusia.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Nestle, Kenley Brooks, Joshua Douglass, Christopher Bush, Waylon Bush and Caleb Geohagan. Honorary pallbearer will be Shawn Geohagan.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Foreman’s and 30 minutes prior to services at the church.
BOBBY JOE GRISSETT
Mr. Bobby Joe Grissett, 66, born in Andalusia and resident of Daphne, passed away Fri., Sept. 19, 2014, with his family by his side.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed by The Colonial Bread / Sara Lee Co. for more than 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Asbury and Esther Grissett; his brothers, Lynn Hart, Kenneth Lavon and Benjamin Arnold; and his brother in law, Samuel C. Adams.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Betty Owens Grissett; his children, Tim (Alice) Grissett, Tammy (Don) Curd; the mother of his children, Donna Bailey Griffin; two step-daughters, Tammy Edwards Keely and Ellen (John) Nudo. Also surviving are his siblings, William “Bill” (Zelda) Grissett, Lynette “Sister” Adams, Lamar (Rosalyn) Grissett, Mary (William) Capps and Ronald “Ronnie” (Barbara) Grissett; and sisters in law, Jeanne Grissett, Pat Grissett and Elizabeth Grissett; and his ten grandchildren, Sean Grissett, Michael Curd, Daniel Keely, Sophia Nudo, Giovanni Nudo, Isabella Nudo, Amber Curd, Blake Curd, Shelbi Case and Sydney Case.
Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Sat., Sept. 27, with a memorial service to follow, at River Falls Baptist Church. Expressions of condolence may be made at www.hughesfh.com. Arrangements are by Hughes.
