Drug Task Force agents infiltrated a known-meth operation Tuesday after an undercover officer set up a fake buy with a Laurel Hill, Fla., woman.

According to a press release from the DTF, agents arrested 35-year-old Carrie Cullifer after the agency received word that she was a known-supplier of methamphetamine to the county.

An undercover officer working with the DTF infiltrated her operation after Cullifer agreed to meet with a person she thought was a buyer in the county, and deliver meth in exchange for pseudoephedrine, the main ingredient in the substance.

Cullifer was charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance II, which is a Class B felony; felony possession of drug paraphernalia, which is a Class C felony; and distribution of a controlled substance, which is a Class A felony.

She is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $350,000 bond.

DTF Commander Mark Odom said he was pleased with the operation.

“We appreciate the information about drug activity we receive from our citizens,” he said. “We follow up on every tip we receive, and it is rewarding to know that one less supplier is on the streets of Covington County dealing in drugs.”

If convicted, Cullifer faces 10 to 99 years for the distribution charge; two to 20 years for the manufacturing charge; and one year and one day to 10 years for the felony possession of drug paraphernalia charge.
