Pleasant Home has been ranked in this week’s AL.com volleyball poll.

The Lady Eagles sit at No. 9 in Class 1A, just one notch ahead of Akron and one below Cedar Bluff.

PHS improved to 7-2 overall after a sweep over Red Level earlier this week. Last night, the Lady Eagles were in action at Opp.

Sacred Heart (11-7) is the top team in 1A. Donoho, Isabella, Ragland and Spring Garden round out the top five.

Decatur Heritage and Marion County are No. 6-7, respectively.

Straughn (4-0) was nominated in Class 4A, but not ranked.
