Pleasant Home’s junior varsity football team claimed its first win in four years Tuesday night as the Eagles defeated Florala, 24-16.

Eagles coach Troy Turman said it took a lot of “hard work” and “heart” for the boys to get the win.

PHS has 15 players on the team, which is two better than last week’s total.

For the season, the Eagles are 1-1 overall.
