The Bulldogs join Northview, Greenville, Dale County, Slocomb, Geneva County and a Pool B JV team in Pool B. Pool A consists of Charles Henderson, Headland, Dothan, Chipley, Fla., Ariton, Elba and a Pool A JV team in Pool A.
Games are 22 minutes long with each possession starting on the 40-yard line and going inward toward the end zone. First downs are by crossing the 25-yard line and the 10-yard line. It takes three downs to make a first down, even inside the 10-yard line, according to tournament rules.
PAT snaps are at the 5-yard line. Two-point conversions are not allowed in pool play, but will be from the 10-yard line in tournament play, if so desired.
There is a running clock during pool play with not overtime. In tournament play, the clock runs the first 20 minutes and stops at the 2-minute mark.
Overtime consists of three players from the 10-yard line with each team attempting to score in each period.
Each touchdown is six points; each interception is three points, except for PATs; turnovers are two points; and a PAT is one point.
On Field 1, Andalusia plays Pool B JV, and then Dale County. On Field 2, Andalusia plays Geneva County, and Greenville. On Field 4, Andalusia plays Northview, and then on Field 6, the Bulldogs play Slocomb to end pool play.
Pool play seeds will be split up between 1-16 for the tournament according to overall records. Tiebreaker rules are head to head, fewest points allowed, most points scored and to a flip of a coin.
Bracket play is single elimination.
