DOTHAN – Brooks Rabren came up just a bit short today in the 2014 Future Masters at Dothan Country Club.
The Straughn rising senior finished runner up after shooting a double bogey on the tournament-deciding playoff hole.
Eventual winner Tanner Owens and Rabren made par on the par-four 18th and both were at 6-under for the round to force a playoff.
Rabren hooked his first tee shot left and out of bounds. He was given a one-stroke penalty and never could recover.
Rabren made birdie on No. 3, 12 and 14; and bogeyed 11 and 5.
