Florala answered a lot of question marks at its spring football game with Kinston, Cottonwood and Rocky Bayou, Wildcats head coach Bubba Nall said.
The Wildcats and Bulldogs played on one team against CHS and Rocky, and fell 28-22 late in the contest.
“We played some good ball,” Nall said. “We looked good. I was proud of our kids for their effort on offense and defense.”
One thing that got Nall and the rest of his coaching staff “excited” was the way their boys attacked their opponents.
“They hit some people the hardest I’ve seen for the first time in three years that I’ve been here,” he said.
The spring football game usually marks the end of the annual 10-day practice session before teams start summer workouts.
Nall said the Wildcats are entering the 10-week session on a good note.
“We’re excited about the offseason workout program,” he said. “The kids played hard. We got a lot of question marks answered at the game and that’s where we want to be going into the summer.”
