Florala’s Bailea Rickett hit a grand slam home run in the third inning and pitched a stellar game to help lead the Lady Wildcats to a 17-1 win over Georgiana on Thursday night.

Rickett struck out eight batters and allowed one run on no hits and walked two in three innings for the win.

The ninth-ranked Lady Wildcats scored nine runs in the first inning and eight runs in the second.

Florala starts play in Andalusia’s tournament today at the Dwight Mikel Sports Complex. The Lady Wildcats face Excel at 5:30 tonight to start pool play.
