Andalusia tennis falls to Trinity Presbyterian

Andalusia’s boys and girls tennis teams fell to Trinity Presbyterian in regular-season tennis action Thursday at LBWCC.
The boys were led by Ari Carter and Ian Peek in singles and in doubles, despite falling 4-5. The girls fell 0-9.
Carter defeated Trinity’s Jack Albritton 10-10 (10-8) in a tiebreaker, and Peek swatted Tucker Bryan 10-5.
Carter and Brandon Scruggs beat Charlie Trotman and Max Williams 10-5 in No. 2 doubles; and Peek and Jackson Moore beat Albritton and Bryan 10-7 in No. 3 doubles.
David May and Cody Stewart fell 2-10 in No. 1 doubles.
In boys singles, May, Scruggs and Moore fell 2-10, 8-10 and 6-10, respectively; and Stewart fell 4-10.
Andalusia’s Sarah Atkinson, Elisabeth Christensen, Rachel Dayton, Jodi Watson, C.J. Capps and Karlee Shirey each fell in their respective singles matches.
In doubles, Atkinson and Dayton lost 4-10; Watson and Capps lost 2-10; and Christensen and Shirey lost 2-10.
Andalusia will be back in action on March 31 at home against Charles Henderson.
