Opp beat Andalusia 6-5 after the Lady Bobcats came from behind 5-1 going into the bottom half of the last inning earlier this evening during day one of the Andalusia Fastpitch Tournament at the Dwight Mikel Sports Complex.

OHS won the game on a three-run home run in its last game of the day. The Lady Bobcats beat Prattville Christian 4-1 to open pool play and their season with a win.

Straughn beat Highland Home 14-3, but fell 10-0 to G.W. Long in the night cap.

Pleasant Home, like Opp, came away with a sweep in its pool as it beat G.W. Long 7-1 and Highland Home 12-0.

In its first game of the day, Andalusia fell 4-0 to Brantley.

Tournament action continues tomorrow at 9 a.m. with Opp-Brantley and G.W. Long-Highland Home. The 10:30 games include Andalusia-Prattville Christian and Straughn-Pleasant Home.

Single elimination bracket play starts at 12:30 p.m. on Field No. 1 and 3.
